The Prince Albert Golf & Curling Club made the early bird draw of $1,000 on Tuesday, December 16th. The winner was Shawn Cripps. Shawn is the son of Ron & Debbie Cripps who are regular curlers at our club. They both play in the Super League, Ron with Phil England and Debbie with Deb Thierman. Congratulations Shawn. Your $20.00 ticket is still available. Stop by the curling office to get your's today. Main draw will be made on April 9th, 2009 at the annual Spring Fling 1st = $6,500 2nd = $2,500 3rd = $1,000 |

On Saturday, December 13th, 2008 at the Prince Albert Golf & Curling Club the Heart & Stroke Foundation held it's annual curling bonspiel fundraiser. The spiel had 14 teams playing three mini 4 end games. The most important part of the day is that between all the curlers, there was over $7,500 raised that goes directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Great job to all the curlers for raising that much money for a special cause. Also, to Archie Aug for organizing the event. |
