2nd ANNUAL JUTRAS CHALLENGE TAKES TO THE TEE MAY 15TH

The 2nd annual Jutras family challenge takes to the golf course on Thursday May 15th. The event is a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society and is in memory of the wife of Danny Jutras, Wendy and his father Pierre. Last years innagural event was a huge success. The event is a shotgun start format scheduled to tee off at 12:30. There will be a supper & prizes at the Art Hauser Centre followed by the entertainment of the descendants of Margo Fournier.

Entry for the event is $135 per golfer, this includes golf, cart, supper, prizes and a $50 tax donation reciept. Extra meal tickets are $25.00 for each golfer or $35.00 for a non golfer, this includes a $10 tax donation reciept. You can entry in the pro shop by calling 763-2502.

 
COURSE OPEN APRIL 30TH AND DRIVING RANGE NOW OPEN

GOLF COURSE OPEN

Cooke Municipal Golf Course will open at Noon on April 30th.  The course will open on regular greens. Phone the pro shop at 765 - 2502 for all your green fee reservations. Green fees $35 Mon to Thur and $37 Fri to Sun.

DRIVING RANGE OPEN

The Driving Range is now open.  Loosen up your swing for the up coming golf season. The range will be open daily. Large bucket - $9.00 , Medium bucket - $7.00, Small bucket - $4.00

 
SPRING FLING ANOTHER SUCCESS

The annual Spring Fling was another huge success. The event saw over 1100 party goers through the doors. New this year was the act of comedian Kelly Taylor, he was fantastic. The music of the Sheep Dogs followed.

The Prince Albert Golf and Curling club thanks all who helped out during the event.

We look forward to next years event!!

Don't forget that the space at the golf and curling club has 25,000 square feet of space for rent. Phone James at 765 - 5203 for more info.

40TH ANNIVERSARY MAIN CASH PRIZES DRAWN

The main cash prizes of the Prince Albert Golf and Curling 40th anniversary draw were awarded on April 18th at the annual spring fling. The grand prize winner was Glen Wassel of La Ronge, he took home the $7,500 main cash prize. The second place prize of $2,500 went to Tyson - Lennox Zepp, and the third place prize of $1,000 went to Jeanette Kinderzski. Congratulations to the main prize winners as well as to all the winners. Thanks to all who purchased the tickets and to all who sold the tickets.

SPRING FLING IS LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY

This years event will see Comedian Kelly Taylor take to the stage at 9:00 P.M. and the rock music of the Sheep Dogs take to the stage at 11:00 P.M. untill 1:30 A.M. Advance tickets for $20.00 are now on sale. You can get your tickets at the club office, Mandolin's or at Shananigans. Don't miss out on the party event of the year.
