CONEXUS THURSDAY EVENING CLOSED BONSPIEL PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 04 February 2008
The 2008 edition of the Conexus Thursday evening bonspiel was held January 17th to 19th. The bonspiel had 22 teams compete, this was up from 14 teams last season. The league has 32 teams playing all year. The bonspiel tradionally used to be held on the last weekend of the season but due to the Candian Senior Championships this year we had to find another weekend. We think with the bonspiel being played earlier in the season the amount of entries will increase. All teams enjoyed a fantastic banquet on Saturday night as well as prize presentations. This bonspiel is all fun and everybody recieved a prize. We look forward to next years bonspiel.
