Tuesday, 20 May 2008

Prince Albert Golf and Curling Club member along with his University of British Columbia golf team captured the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics men's golf championships last week. UBC is only one of five Canadian teams that compete in the NAIA. This was the first time that a Candian school has one the championships. The top four players on the team finished in the top 10. David finished in 10th place. Dave shot a 2 under 70 in Friday's last round to lead his team to the Championships, which was tied for the best round of the day.

Last year David and father and PAGCC member Ron were members of the Saskatchewan team that competed at the Canadian men's amateur golf championships.

Congratulations to Dave from the Prince Albert Golf and Curling Club on your National Championships!!! Way to go!!!
