The 2008 Western Premieres Convention kicked off in the city on Wednesday May 28th and ran untill Friday May 30th. On Wednesday evening the Convention hosted a opening social at the Prince Albert Golf and Curling Club. The evening couldn't of been better, the sun was out, and it was a beautifiul setting for the Premieres and their delegates. The social was in the Tee Room and Deck, an area with a beautifiul view of the golf course. Mr. Brad Wall hosted the Premieres from British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Yukon, North West Territories and Nunavit. Earlier in the day a few of the Premiers took to the Cooke Municipal Golf Course, one of the best courses in Saskatchewan. The Prince Albert Golf and Curling Club is honored to have been able to host the Premiers of Western Canada!!
