The 2008 edition of the annual Senior Men's Northern Championship wrapped up on Thursday July 17th at the Cooke Municipal Golf Course. This years tournament had 168 golfers, a great turn out. The weather co-operated for both days and the golf course continues to be in great shape. Great job to all  players and organizers on another successfull tournament.

In the Championship flight, Bill Cameron defended his title and took home his second straight championship. Bill had rounds of 69 and 72 good enough to win by 2 strokes over Ron Stewart (73 - 70) , Jim Scissons (72 - 71), and Doug Pipper (68 - 75). Congratulations to Bill Cameron.
