PAGCC JUNIORS FAIR WELL AT PROVINCIAL JUNIORS PDF Print E-mail

The Prince Albert Golf & Curling Club was well represented at the 2008 Provincial Junior Championships which wrapped up on Friday, July 18th at the Lloydminister Golf Club.

On the boys side, there were 9 players entered in the Championships. The top finisher was Danny Klughart, Danny missed the Provincial team by 4 strokes with rounds of 75,70,83,74 for a four round total of 302, good for a tie for 7th place. Other players making the three round cut were Luc Pauli who had a four round total of 339, good for 23rd place and Connor Vermeulen who had a four round total of 361, good for 26th place.

The other entries and their final scores were Travis Jenkins who had a three round total of 233, Matt Kelly with a three round score of 245, Brett Henry with a three round score of 251, Justain Paradis with a three round score of 257, Michael Koob with a three round score of 262, and Preston Rindal with a three round score of 266.

On the girls side, there was one junior girl from the Prince Albert Golf & Curling Club playing in the tournament. Allison Woodcock finished the tournament in 10th place with a four round total of 404.

Great job to all the junior players who competed at the Provincial Championships. All of you represented our club and city very well and job well done!!!
