The 2007 Ladies Northern was a huge success. The event had 62 players with two divisions. The weekend started off with a Molson sponsored social on Friday night on the deck. The golf got underway on Saturday under blue sky for most of the day. The evening continued with the banquet catered by Mandolin's. Things didn't stop there, the ladies went back on the golf course to compete in a horserace. The tournament ended on Sunday with two playoffs for the two championships. In the Ladies division Kathy Ziglo defeated Nadia Gisi, they both had two round totals of 162. In the Senior Division Jo - Ann Schiller defeated Phyllis Longobardi, they both had a two round total of 165. A big congratulations is in order to Jackie Packet and all of her help in organizing and running a successful tournament. Also a big thanks to all the sponsors who helped out.
