Our club will once again be in the spotlight as we found out last week that we will be hosting the 2008 Canadian Senior Men's and Women's Championships March 22nd to 30th. The event will feature 12 of the top Women's teams in the country and 12 of the top Men's teams in the country. Once again our club will be put to the test of hosting a national championship. With all the great volunteers we have along with strong support from the business community we will once again shine and do a great job as host. It is confirmed that Gordon Widger will be the host Chairman for the event. We will be having our first meeting on June 20th and will form a structure for a committee and from there will get people in place. If you are interested in being involved on a committee give me a call at the office 765-5203.  There will be a big push for volunteers near the end of summer and at the start of the curling season. Let's show once again how PAGCC can stage a unforgetable event.
