BACKGROUND

The Prince Albert Golf and Curling Club have been in operation at its present location since 1967.  Our Facility is the premiere curling facility in and around the city of Prince Albert, and is also one of the most premiere recreation and banquet facilities in the city.

We have 8 regular curling leagues along with a junior program that is part of the P4A association in the school system and an increasing high school program. The building hosts numerous bonspiels throughout the year along with many different provincial and national competitions in the past. We successfully hosted the 2008 National Senior Men’s and Women’s Championships last season and are host of the 2008-2009 Provincial Men’s and Women’s Master’s Championships in March as well as the Sasktel, SGI, and Shrine Club Provincial bonspiels this season.

The facility is also home to Mandolin’s Restaurant, which has seating that views the curling ice area. Your advertising will be seen by all patrons that use the restaurant for viewing of curling or just out for a meal or a special function.

The 2007 season saw the start of a re energizing process of our facility and the game of curling. Over the past year we have increased general curling numbers and utilization of the facility. We introduced a couple of new things, one being a strong advertising package like this one, a strong advertising campaign and the introduction of GLOW CURLING along with other curling promotion items.

We are continuing this process and continue to strive to introduce new and old curlers to and back to the game and with the success of last year we are well on our way. We are looking for your support for one of the few life long and enjoyable sports around and for one of the busiest facilities our city has to offer.
